PLENARY SATELITTE SYMPOSIUM 90 MINUTES (NON-CME)​
Support of an Industry Symposium in a Plenary Hall, up to 90 minutes, programme subject to the approval of the Meeting Scientific Committee.

  • Includes: hall rental, standard audio/visual equipment, display table
  • Permission to use the phrase: “Official Industry Symposium of FEMS 2017”
  • Symposium Programme will be included in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the Programme (subject to receipt by publishing deadline)
  • Full Page Colour Symposium Advertisement in the Industry Support and Exhibition Section of the Program
  • Industry Symposium will be indicated in the programme as: Industry Supported Symposium
  • The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover all speakers’ expenses including registration, accommodation and travel expenses. This also applies in case the speakers have already been invited by the event organisers.

MEET THE EXPERT BREAKFAST SESSION 45 MINUTES (NON-CME)
                 ​ Opportunity to organise a meet the expert breakfast session up to 45 minutes
(Program subject to the approval by the Meeting Scientific Committee)​
  • Includes: hall rental, standard audio/visual equipment, display table
  • Permission to use the phrase: “Official Industry Symposium of FEMS 2017”
  • Session Program will be included in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the Program (subject to receipt by publishing deadline)
  • Full Page Colour Symposium Advertisement in the Industry Support and Exhibition Section of the Program
  • Session will be indicated in the program as: Industry Supported Session
  • The supporting company in addition to the support fee must cover all speakers’ expenses including registration, accommodation and travel expenses. This also applies in case the speakers have already been invited by the event organisers.
​​For the above Symposium options, the following applies:
  • Satellite Symposia are offered to industry as non-CME commercial/promotional sessions and are allocated on a “first-come, first-served” basis. 
  • Supporting companies are free to choose topics, invite speakers, and control content. However, topic and programme are subject to approval by the scientific committee.
  • Under current regulations, ESPID strongly discourages industry-employed speakers in the supported symposia. Exceptions are occasionally made where a clear and well-argued case is made that a particular speaker would be the best person for a particular topic within the structure and content of the symposium proposed.
  • In case the scientific committee does not approve the Satellite Symposia programme, each party will be entitled to cancel the Satellite Symposium booking without paying any penalty for the cancellation or for any damages caused by the cancellation to the other party. Accordingly upon such cancellation, neither of the parties will have any claims, demands or suits towards the other.
  • The company, in addition to the support fee, must cover all speaker expenses, including registration fees, accommodation and travel expenses. This also applies in the case where the speakers have already been invited by the event organisers.
  • Satellite Symposium will be indicated in the programme as: Industry Supported Session- (not included in the main event CME/CPD credit offering – please refer to the Industry Support and Exhibition section for more information).”

 


CONGRESS BAGS
​Supporter will provide funding of the Congress bags.

  • The bag will bear the Supporter’s logo and the Congress logo
  • Supporter’s logo with hyperlink on Congress website
  • Acknowledgement on Supporters’ Board on-site
  • Acknowledgement in the Supporters' List in the Final Program

* The bag must be approved by the organizing committee in advance.



CONGRESS LANYARDS

Opportunity to place company logo on the lanyards. The Organizing Committee will select the type and design of the lanyards. The support entitlements are as follows:

  • Supporter’s logo to be printed on the lanyards
  • Supporter’s logo on Congress website
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the Final Programme book
  • Acknowledgement on Supporters’ board on-site

REGISTRATION AREA BRANDING
​The registration area is the place where ALL delegates from FEMS 2017 go through when entering the congress. This opportunity is unique and exclusive to one company. It gives you the opportunity to welcome everyone on behalf of your company. Don't let this go to your competitors!
A Banner will be placed prominently in the main registration area, with the message "Company X welcomes you at FEMS 2017" other messages are upon approval. ​



SPANISH EVENING IN VALENCIA
On Tuesday July 11th, a Spanish theme party will be organized for all delegates. There will be Spanish music, food and drinks and the location in Valencia will be superb. Your company can support this event and be acknowledged for this at the evening itself. A sign with your company name/logo will be placed at the entrance and items onsite can be branded as well. TRANSPORTATION TO SPANISH EVENING IN VALENCIA
​A Spanish theme party will be organized for all delegates. There will be Spanish music, food and drinks and the location in Valencia will be superb. Your company can support the transportation to this event. Busses will bring delegates from the venue to the location. RE ICECREAM STAND IN EXHIBITION
​Valencia in July can be warm. Delegates will be longing for something fresh and cool. Your company can provide them with this, by supporting an ice cream stand in the exhibition area. The stand and the cups/napkins​ can be branded with your company name/logo, Delegates will appreciate this free of charge refreshment that you have given them. INTERNET AREA
​There will be an Internet Area equipped with workstations where attendees may check e-mails. Your company’s logo will be prominently displayed.

INTERNET AREA BATHROOM ADVERTISEMENT
​Every delegate will use the venue bathroom facilities at least once a day. Why not use this knowledge and take advantage of this great support opportunity to brand the bathroom with your company name/logo! This area might be somewhat unusual, but that is also where the strength lies with this opportunity. 



WELCOME RECEPTION / NETWORKING EVENT

TAPAS AND SANGRIA TASTING FROM BOOTH​
​We are offering you the delicious opportunity to treat the delegates with Spanish tapas and sangria from your booth. You can organize a 60 minute tasting, which will attract many people to your booth. The tasting will be advertised in the Industry section of the final program and you can promote the tasting from your booth.


COFFEE BREAKS
Coffee will be served during breaks in the exhibition area. Hospitality provided will be in compliance with all relevant industry codes. There will be 2 coffee breaks per day.

  • Opportunity to have a one day display of company’s logo at the catering point located within the exhibit area
  • Opportunity to provide items bearing company logo for use during the supported break
  • Support will be acknowledged in the Industry Support and Exhibition section of the programme, on the event website, and with signage during the event 
TREATS DURING COFFEE BREAK
​If you have treats (upon approval from committee) that are branded with your company​ logo, you can offer them to the delegates during the coffee breaks. Company has to provide baskets as well for the treats,

FOOTSTEPS TOWARDS EXHIBITION AREA
​We offer you the opportunity to brand footstep stickers that lead towards your booth location. The footsteps will be placed from the end of the registration area to the exhibition area.

NOTEPADS AND PENS (PROVIDED IN KIND)

​Supporter will provide funding for the Notepads & Pens for the participants.

  • Notepads & Pens will bear the FEMS logo and the Supporter’s company logo and will be distributed in the participants’ Congress bags.

PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL

Inclusion of one-page promotional material in the participants' Congress bags.  
Material should be provided by the Supporter and approved by the Secretariat. 
Supporters' product information will be available for all Congress participants
The distribution arrangement will be advised.

Please note that it is the Exhibitors'/Supporters' responsibility to comply with the local authority's regulations, EFPIA(European Federation of Pharmaceuticals Industries & Associations) www.efpia.org , Eucomed (represents Medical Technology industry) http://archive.eucomed.org/ and IFPMA (International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations) www.ifpma.org Code of Practice on the promotion of medicines.  Failure to comply with these regulations may not be used as a ground to declare the contract void.  Failure to comply with the rules and regulations will not expose the Organizer to any suits, demands by the Exhibitor/Supporter or any other third party.​
